Micro Injection Moulding
The general trend towards greater miniaturisation is increasing the demand for plastic components of ever-decreasing size. This applies not only to the overall size of components, but also subsections of components, the so-called micro-structure sections. Drawing on our many years of experience in precision toolmaking, we are constantly refining our processing methods so as to be able to integrate even the smallest structures in mould cores and tool inserts. Shot volumes measuring less than a single granule and geometries of just a few hundredths of a millimetre are used frequently.
