HARTING innovations on display at the SPS/IPC/DRIVES exhibition in Nuremberg

With its new Ha-VIS preLink technology HARTING has created the option of deploying standardized cabling in all company areas. The preLink connection technology is inserted between the cable termination and the freely selectable mating face. The conventional link is replaced by preLink. Ha-VIS preLink can be used universally with various connectors, such as the RJ 45 and M12, in the IP 20 and IP 67 protection classes, and on both male and female sides of the connector.
This significantly reduces planning costs, installation time and error probability.
HARTING Automation IT solutions provide a uniform communication platform for all in applications in manufacturing companies. HARTING has developed a new switching technology to achieve the required performance level, whereby the switch ensures determinism without the need for special chips in the network devices. This technology earned HARTING a nomination for the Hermes Award, the prestigious, highest endowed technology prize, at this year’s Hannover Messe trade fair. HARTING is presenting the new switching technology’s first series product at SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2009.
